Alvernia Manor is located in southwest suburban Lemont; about 5 miles from its’ historic downtown. Mt. Assisi Academy, a high school of young women and Mt. Assisi Convent share these grounds. Cog Hill Golf Course is our neighbor.

From Downtown Chicago:
Take I-55 south to Kingery Road/IL Route 83 and exit 274 south.

From the western suburbs:
Take I-355 south to I-55 north to Kingery Road/IL Route 83 and exit 274 south.

From the northern suburbs:
Take I-294 south to I-55 south to Kingery Road/IL Route 83 and exit 274 south.

From Joliet:
Take I-55 north to Kingery Road/IL Route 83 and exit 274 south.

From Kingery Road/IL Route 83 exit:
Continue south on Route 83 for approximately 4 miles to Main Street and turn right. (Main Street is first stoplight after crossing (2) large steel bridges.) Go about 1-1/2 miles to Alvernia Manor’s entrance. The driveway is on left side of roadway.

From south suburbs:
Take IL Route 83 west to Main Street. Continue traveling straight (west) through the intersection of Route 83 and IL 171. (Main Street is approximately 8 miles west of LaGrange Road and begins at this junction). Go about 1-1/2 miles to Alvernia Manor’s entrance. The driveway is on left side of roadway.
